Mr. EL Hachem is a project manager and an expert in the development and implementation of renewable energy and energy efficiency policies and strategies, NEEAP & NREEAP, as well as monitoring and evaluation covering various sectors in the fields of energy, environment, water, waste, industry and oil & gas in the MENA region.
He has gained over 20 years of experience working for the Council for Development and Reconstruction “CDR” water and sewage networks projects in the north of Lebanon, the EU-Funded project SISSAF as an Energy Key expert and the Lebanese Standards Institution LIBNOR technical committee in charge of the Lebanese Green Building Standards formulation and enforcement.
Furthermore, Mr. EL Hachem has previously worked for International firms like EDF “ Électricité de France “, Ansaldo Energia, ENEL , Siemens, Petrofac, Steiner and others having a long and successful record in the Ownership and Leadership as well as in the risk assessment, financing, HSSE and quality assurance of projects in Energy and Oil & Gas fields. He has been involved in the construction of large power generation plants as well as Mega oil & gas plants.
Mr. El Hachem holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese University of Engineering Branch II in 1994.
