Clima-Med Technical Assistance Team in a two-day follow-up workshop for the C4C project in Irbid Municipality.

Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM) in Jordan is successfully leading the implementation of the “Cleaner Energy Saving multi-use public building” project, which the EU supports as part of the Climate for Cities program, C4C.

The Clima-Med Technical Assistance team has made great strides forward, assisting the GIM in successfully achieving this important action, which is stipulated in the municipality’s Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs).

Through two meetings held on the 16th and 18th of January at the Municipality Building with the Clima-Med team, the GIM technical project team worked thoroughly to strengthen the project management plan, review the potential resources for funding additional infrastructure elements of the infrastructure work, and reviewing co applicants’ tasks.

Mr Nabil Kofhi, mayor of Greater Irbid municipality, and members of the municipal council attended the meeting and confirmed their full endorsement of the joint Irbid -Clima-Med team.
